  1. Answer: B.  $2.0 million, or $1,333/cow.  If you forget to change the default 2,000-cow herd size to 1,500 cows and change the year from 2011 to 2013 in the “Capital cost help” sheet, you will get answer (c) instead.
  2. Answer: C.  Equal to the interest opportunity cost rate.
  3. Answer: B.  Around 3 cents/kWh (3.18 cents, to be exact)
